Terms & Conditions

General

Unless stated in writing, all bookings are accepted subject to the Terms and Conditions of hiring stated below.

Site and Access
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that adequate parking is available for the event.
  • Any changes to the scheduled delivery or pickup of rental equipment may incur an additional fee.
  • The client must provide the company with a floor plan indicating the location of the bar and/or equipment. Alternatively, the client may request the presence of a representative on-site for this purpose. If neither of these options is provided, Cateritaly Bar will place the bar and equipment in a location it considers suitable.
  • If we are unable to retrieve our equipment due to obstacles created by the customer or their suppliers, you will incur a daily rental fee until we can access our equipment, in accordance with our loading and access requirements.

Premises licence

  • The bar will only be open if the venue for the event, including tents or private homes, holds a valid license for the retail sale of alcohol throughout the event. A copy of this license must be provided to us before the event date.

  • If you would like us to provide a TENS unit, please arrange this at the time of booking or at least three months before the event.

TENS Licence

  • Cateritaly accepts no responsibility for the refusal of an alcohol license by a Local Authority.

  • If there are any problems with obtaining a TENS license for the event, we will inform the client as soon as possible

Staffing

  • We provide our services from the agreed-upon start time until the end time specified in the invoices and confirmed payment. If the service is requested beyond the agreed-upon end time, we will ask you to sign a timesheet, and we will invoice you for the additional time after the event.

  • The bar staff reserves the right to close the bar at any time if, in their opinion, unruly or troublesome behaviour has occurred or is likely to occur within the venue or its surroundings.

Age Limits

  • Proof of age ID may be required.

  • We will not serve anyone at the event who is excessively intoxicated or who behaves in a threatening or offensive manner towards our staff, customers, or other guests.

Booking

  • Upon receiving an order, we will produce a summary document that will be sent via email. This document will outline the deposit amount and general terms. We will consider the order confirmed once we have received the deposit.

  • A 30% deposit of the estimated cost is required to confirm the booking and is non-refundable.

  • It will be deducted from the total invoice.

  • Reservations must be made at least three months in advance of the event.

  • You can make changes to any item on your order until payment is completed or up to one week before the event.

  • We reserve the right to apply additional charges should the Client change location, guest numbers or requirements that differ from those on the booking confirmation

Cancellation

  • We accept cancellation without more charges (except for the deposit) if it is formalised by e­mail before the full payment.

  • We will return 70% of your payment only if you have paid the full amount (100%) of your order and if the cancellation request is made at least 7 days before the event.

  • Cancellations made 7 days or less before the event will not be eligible for a refund.

Dry Hire Terms

Equipment

  • Rental prices are calculated based on the assumption that the equipment installation site is flat, dry, firm, and easily accessible for motorised transport. They include installation and dismantling before and after the event.

  • The client must provide the company with a floor plan indicating the location of the bar and/or equipment. Alternatively, the client may request the presence of a representative on-site for this purpose. If neither of these options is provided, Cateritaly Mobile Bar will place the bar and equipment in a location it considers suitable.

  • Only equipment specifically listed in the booking confirmation is included in the hire.

  • To rent certain equipment, a power supply is necessary.​

Staffing

  • Cateritaly BAR is not responsible if you do not provide an adequate supply of glasses, ice, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, or any other items necessary for the proper operation of the bar.

  • If you have our catering staff, please note that they will not be available to wash and replenish glasses that have been previously used.

Corkage fee

  • If you have requested this bar service along with our catering service, we will not charge a corkage fee.

Bar Cash Terms

Consumption 

  • Guests must purchase drinks from the event bar. Bringing your own beverages, including non-alcoholic drinks, is not allowed due to licensing requirements.

Prepaid Bar Terms

Timing

  • The timeframe for which the bar is prepaid by the organiser must be clearly specified at the time of booking and payment.

  • If there are delays, the organiser can request to adjust the free bar time, which Cateritaly BAR staff must approve.

Smart Bar Terms

Pricing

  • The charge for each drink is £2.00, but the organiser can adjust this amount, provided it does not exceed the price of the least expensive drink, such as soft drinks.

  • A deposit is required for each person and for each hour the bar is open during the event. Drinks sold will be deducted from this deposit, while the number of drinks consumed multiplied by the agreed-upon nominal price per guest will be added.

Payments

  • Payments must be made in the requested form indicated at the end of the order proposals.
